Surrounded by water and situated a stone’s throw away from Rotterdam and Dordrecht is the National Landscape ’De Hoeksche Waard’. The Hoeksche Waard is one of the twenty areas in Holland that holds this title; something which we are entitled to be proud of. The area is unique for its endless views and open polder landscapes, its winding dikes and creeks. This makes the island a very suitable place to walk, cycle, to canoe and to relax completely.
